A and B are 3 years 2 years old respectively. their father is 40 years old. After how many years, father age would be the twice of combined age of A and B?

Explanation:

If after `x` years’ father`s age becomes twice of combined age of A and B, then

Sum of ages of A & B after `x` years = 3 + 2 + 2x = 5 + 2x

And, Father`s age after `x` years=40+x

So, 40 + x = 2(5+2x).

=> x = 10.
